| Course overview: |
|
This course gives specific information regarding the mechanisms, recognition of, and first aid |
| |
management of ballistic injuries. It is suitable for police firearms personnel, firefighters, |
| |
rescue personnel, firearms and ordnance range staff, or anyone who may have to provide |
| |
immediate care for a casualty with blast or projectile injuries. It is designed to supplement |
| |
knowledge and skills to persons already trained to EMT level or equivalent. |
