Overview:
This course is to train and certificate personnel in the knowledge and skills required for correct emergency first aid and medical emergencies for infants and children. It is suitable for persons involved in a pre-hospital care role who may need to provide immediate care to a paediatric patient.

Paediatric assessment, respiratory emergencies, special healthcare needs, airway skills, trauma, child maltreatment, emergency delivery and newborn stabilisation, cardiovascular emergencies, medical emergencies.
