Management and Operational Response |
Overview:
This course carried out on client’s sites only will test and assess
procedures and actions of incident managers/commanders for triage prioritising
at major incident or multiple injury situations, and assess their overseeing
of trauma treatment and rescue techniques. The first aid, or rescue
personnel are also assessed in their normal workplace in situations
and scenarios prepared by our instructors and using live simulated casualties.
Suitable for incident managers/commanders in charge of rescue personnel,
and first aid teams or rescue personnel working as a team.
Entry
requirements:
None, this course is designed for medium to large organisations that
have a number of first aiders or an emergency medical service on site.
Course
includes:
Risk assessment and procedures for emergencies, setting up simulated
workplace accidents, identifying response times and any procedural problems,
assessing rescue and first aid procedures, assessing operational management
and leadership of the situation. Full de-briefing after each scenario
is given with any vital skills training being given, and recommendations
made to improve procedures, management and team-working skills specific
to the workplace.
